	November 25, 2008 AnubisNetworks becomes one of the latest members of COTEC's SME Innovation Network AnubisNetworks has just joined COTEC's SME Innovation Network. A set of 45 companies, including AnubisNetworks, was selected from a host of applications. AnubisNetworks' successful application was announced by the Coordinator of the Network's Plan of Activities, Professor Rogério Carapuça, representing the Chairman of the Network's Monitoring Committee, top Portuguese industrialist Belmiro de Azevedo, at the "Second Meeting of the SME Innovation Network", which took place on November, 20th at the Oriente Museum, in Lisbon. At present, the SME Innovation Network comprises a total of 100 innovative small and medium-size companies. 	November 17, 2008 AnubisNetworks participates in the 2008 Portugal Technology Exhibition AnubisNetworks exhibited at the 2008 Portugal Technology Exhibition, which was hosted at Pavilion 1 of FIL - Lisbon International Fair, in Parque das Nações, from 18 to 23 November 2008. The event is a technology exhibition organised by the Portuguese Ministry for the Economy and Innovation, the country's Technology Plan Office, and AIP-CE, the Portuguese Industrial Association - Entrepreneur Confederation. The goal of this event is to present the best offerings in technology developed domestically for a wide range of services and industries, such as the Healthcare, Education, Transport, Environment, Tourism, Mobility, Home, Marketing, E-Business, E-Government, Telecommunications, Innovation, and Security sectors, inter alia, among the sectors which are currently contributing to a surplus of the country's technological trade balance. 	November 14, 2008 AnubisNetworks attends the 2008 Telecommunications Congress "Investing in ideas to reinvent the future" was the motto behind the launch of a Venture Lounge at this year's Telecommunications Congress. In practice, the Venture Lounge was provided by the organiser of the 2008 Telecommunications Congress, APDC - the Portuguese Association for Telecommunications Development, as a means of providing innovative and entrepreneurial companies with an opportunity to present their business ventures to the many visitors to the event, which took place in Lisbon from 11 to 13 November 2008, at Lisbon's Congress Centre. The motivation to launch an event such as the Venture Lounge, and one of its main objectives, was to bring investors and venture companies owning value-adding projects together, as well as to provide incentives to entrepreneurship and to support young entrepreneurs with innovative business projects looking for potential investors willing to venture the required capital to develop them. As far as AnubisNetworks was concerned, the event was another opportunity to introduce its business project to investors and to demonstrate the value-adding features of its products, for both the domestic market and international markets. 	November 13, 2008 AnubisNetworks under the spotlight at INFOSEC 08 AnubisNetworks was a major exhibitor at this year's edition of the INFOSEC 2008 Congress - Information Technology Systems Security Congress, which took place on November 11th and 12th, 2008, at the Marriott Hotel, in Lisbon. This was the ninth edition of a congress organised in Portugal by the IFE - International Faculty for Executives. Over the years, this Congress has become the country's top event when it comes to IT security systems. The latest edition was dedicated to addressing the security concerns of top management and chief executives. Citing the Program's Coordinator, Ana Lourenço, this was a "professional event of excellence as far as IT security is concerned, and an ideal occasion to raise the awareness of managers of corporate IT systems for the importance of implementing a corporate security strategy that is capable of preventing possible data losses". 	October 3, 2008 AnubisNetworks participates in the Conference promoted by ANJE AnubisNetworks was invited to join the presentation panel in the upcoming conference of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresàrios) that will be held in the ANJE Auditorium on the 4th of October, under the theme, Startups high tech, high growth!, with the presence of the President of the Portuguese Republic. For this event, ANJE invited eight companies that represent the best of Portugal at the level of innovation and technology. AnubisNetworks will mark its presence with a brief company presentation and its own stand, allowing direct contact with several of the company's top solutions.

	September 30, 2008 BIAL and IBERFAR implement AnubisNetworks technology The BIAL Group, the largest pharmaceutical group in Portugal, implemented the MPS - Enterprise Edition solution through its Decsis partner in the hope of drastically reducing the volume of span received in the corporate e-mail inboxes. As main advantages, the BIAL Group highlights effective anti-spam protection as well as statistics with full information on e-mails received and low maintenance. The IBERFAR Group, a pharmaceutical company, needed a solution to effectively and fully eliminate a spam problem. A partnership with AnubisNetworks proved fundamental in the eradication of the problem through a very simple and quick implementation process. 	June 23, 2008 AnubisNetworks protects MAPFRE e-mail The insurance company MAPFRE adopted the MPS-EE: Mail Protection Service Enterprise Edition security solution of AnubisNetworks, to protect and filter e-mail against spam, viruses, phishing and other malwares. The MPS-Enterprise Edition was implemented in MAPFRE Seguros through the commercial partner CSO - Chief Security Officers, with the objective to tackle the growing e-mail spam message problem. In practical terms, 70% of e-mails received at MAPFRE were considered spam. Of this total, 99% is now efficiently retained by the AnubisNetworks solution.

	May 26, 2008 AnubisNetworks protects Finibanco Finibanco implemented the safety solution MPS-EE: Mail Protection Service Enterprise Edition, for effective corporate e-mail protection. Aware of the importance and security needs at this level, Finibanco tested various available market proposals. After excellent results obtained with the AnubisNetworks solution, it decided to implement the MPS-Enterprise Edition. MPS–EE is an e-mail security solution for large firms, ISPs and companies with specific needs, as in the case of Finibanco. Additionally, MPS-EE offers total e-mail filtering control, allowing extra functionalities according to specific customer requirements.

	May 19, 2008 FCT implements AnubisNetworks technology The FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology, implemented the solution MPS-EE: Mail Protection Service Enterprise Edition, for corporate e-mail protection. The FCT needed to solve a serious spam issue that resulted in daily productivity loss and bandwidth occupation problems, and probable mysterious errors in their overloaded e-mail servers. Being that the e-mail is of vital importance to FCT activity regarding scientific and technological activity promotion in Portugal, it decided to adopt the AnubisNetworks solution after a set of unsuccessful experiences with other products, and after assessing a test solution in another institution. FCT implemented the MPS Enterprise Edition solution successfully, based on solution adaptability and added value of implementation and technical support quality.

	May 19, 2008 AnubisNetworks sponsors the 3rd FINCO Congress (Forum of Computing and Communication) AnubisNetworks will sponsor the 3rd FINCO Congress (Forum of Computing and Communication) organized by the Sonae Group, which will be held on the 19th and 20th of May at the Hotel Solverde in Espinho. 	March 27, 2008 University of Minho and University of Madeira with AnubisNetworks protection The University of Minho and the University of Madeira implemented the MPS–EE solution: Mail Protection Enterprise Edition, for the protection of corporate e-mail. The University of Minho chose the AnubisNetworks solution to ensure effective "hygiene" of all received e-mails. The platform, which allows granular monitoring over the adopted anti-spam mechanisms, namely false positive management, allows the user autonomy to control trustworthy senders and clear messages that are provisionally considered spam. The University of Madeira heard about the solution proposed by AnubisNetworks and decided to test it. In light of user acceptance and good results, it opted for the installation of our product with great success. The University of Madeira highlights immediate main benefits as being an increase of collaborator productivity due to a reduction of spam and virus messages, and the easy management of our product.

	March 8, 2008 AnubisNetworks Sponsors 9th ANETIE Conference AnubisNetworks will sponsor the 9th Conference of ANETIE (National Association of Information Technologies and Electronics), held on the 6th of March, 2008 in the Estoril Congress Centre. The conference will comprise the theme "Portugal 2.0", with the objective of discussing opportunities for the country and pinpoint options and stakes.

	January 8, 2008 Grupo Sonae, SGPS implements AnubisNetworks solution The Sonae SGPS Group signed a corporate contract with AnubisNetworks for e-mail protection in all Group companies. The decision was made based on an analysis process of the main solutions on the market with regard to e-mail protection. This survey was developed by FINCO – Forum for new technologies, comprising the CIOs of the various Sonae Group holdings aimed at finding solutions for the entire Group. During the first stage, the project involved technical solution validation using pilot projects in different Group holdings, followed by a negotiation led by Bizdirect, the malware Corporate Contract manager for Sonae. According to Luís Filipe Reis, Administrator of Sonaecom and President of FINCO, "AnubisNetworks was the company that actually evinced anti-spam e-mail protection. This Portuguese company has developed innovative technology that solved the anti-spam protection issue in the entire Group, and the support rendered complements its unique offer."
